GBV Awareness


The joint awareness campaign on Thursday the 9th of December at 11:00 in Skeyfin Community Hall – Mangosuthu Village, was very successful.

The departments of GRIP (Greater Rape Intervention Programme), Mental Health Society, SAPS, Justice and Health were welcomed by the Ward 13 councilor, FC Mthethewa. She acknowledged all stakeholders present and welcomed the initiative of informing the community.

The presentations included the services rendered by GRIP (counseling that is provided to victims of GBV).

The victims were encouraged to report cases of GBV (Gender-Based Violence) to the police within 72 hours of occurrence.
