Two Ironman brothers, Johan Greeff and Gerhard Greeff, are taking part in their 3rd consecutive South African Ironman Championship event on Sunday the 21st of November in Port Elizabeth.
The event that they will be taking part in is a 3.8km swim in the sea, 180km bike ride, and a 42.2km run. These two brothers will be representing the Ironman4thekidz charity this coming Sunday. The event would have taken place in April 2020 but, was postponed due to Covid-19.
Ironman 4 the Kidz Charity Trust is classified as an Exempt Micro Enterprise. The Charity’s current turnover is below the threshold of R10 000 000 and is defined as being a level 1 B-BBEE contributor. All participating companies/donors are entitled to receive a Section 18A Tax Certificate and all the necessary supporting documents for their contributions made to the Charity. This support is deductible for tax purposes and may be used to support the company’s B-BBEE scorecard status, as all the beneficiaries the Charity supports fall well within the requirements and percentages of the socio-economic development category.
