On Friday the 24th – and Saturday the 25th of September The Farm Butchery held a Heritage market weekend.
The market was held to support the local dog shelter, Rustplaas. All entrance fees were donated to them as well as an added bonus of a matched donation from The Farm Butchery. What a wonderful cause to support.
The days were well supported and fortunately, the weather played along. The excitement could be felt in the air from early morning on when the stalls started setting up. Flowers, woodwork, jam, dried fruits, a health stall, soap, beautiful handmade goodies, candyfloss, cheese, Boerboel clothing, bubble tea and various gifts were for sale.
Throughout the day lovely music kept the atmosphere alive. On both days dog demonstrations from the K9 Elite Protection Academy were showcased. These were very informative and astonishing to see such well-trained dogs in action.
Thank you for the donations on the day and the staff of The Farm Butchery for all your hard work and dedication.
