On Saturday the 22nd of May at 10:00 the academy had a training seminar at Maranatha School’s sports field.
This team is responsible to train dogs and teaching individuals how to train their pets correctly. The training includes balanced training and they work on the principle of rewarding the pets rather than correcting them when needed. They focus on making the training fun for the owner and the dog and both parties benefit from the experience. The main focus of the academy is obedience and personal protection as well as tracking and agility.
The academy brought four of their best dogs, which were all from different levels and ages:
- Zara – A 4-month old Belgian Malinois (female)
- Mella – A 7-month old Belgian Malinois (female)
- Koda – An 18-month old Dutch Shepherd (male)
- Leo – An 18-month old Sable German Shepherd (male)
The past Saturday’s event had a good turnout and there were about seven dogs with their owners and a couple of spectators. The main aim of the event was to launch a new branch of the company in Piet Retief. The academy will present classes every Saturday at 10:00 (winter time). Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. They help any dog, no matter the size or age. If you don’t have a dog you are also more than welcome to come and see the teamwork their magic with the furry friends.
Private sessions are also available on request. They assist owners with troubled dogs, aggressiveness, dogs who fear, and basic misbehavior. Evaluation of dogs from a puppy stage is also available to see if the dog will be suited for your needs.
