On Tuesday 23 February at approximately 15:20, according to eyewitnesses two individuals sustained minor injuries during an accident on the Commondale road in which only one vehicle was involved.
The occupants of the charcoal coloured Toyota left the scene so the Emergency Service personnel were unable to take their statements as to what happened.
One person was treated for minor injuries after being involved in an accident on the Pongola road at about 07:15 on Wednesday 24 February. Apparently, the driver of a white Toyota had turned off from the Paulpietersburg intersection towards Piet Retief when he lost control and overturned the vehicle.
On Friday 26 February at approximately 07:15, the driver of a blue coloured Opel lost control on the Mahamba road due to unknown reasons. He then went off the road and the vehicle rolled. Four people sustained minor injuries.
Also on Friday at about 16:15 three people sustained serious injuries and one was treated for minor injuries after being involved in an accident on the Ermelo road. Apparently, the driver of a white Toyota had to suddenly brake to make way for the driver of a vehicle who overtook him. When he decelerated so suddenly, the driver of the navy coloured Hyundai who was driving behind him, collided into the rear of his vehicle.
On Saturday 27 February at approximately 15:00, the driver of a white Toyota lost control of his vehicle after one of the car’s tyres burst. One person was seriously injured and six individuals sustained minor injuries.
One person died during an accident on the Nerston road on Saturday at about 17:25. The driver of a silver-coloured Volkswagen supposedly lost control due to unknown reasons, which caused the vehicle to roll.
