On Wednesday 25 November members of the SAPS took hundreds of kilograms of dagga to the Mkhondo Dumping Site to be burnt.
The dagga had been confiscated from various individuals throughout the past few months and now that their cases have been finalized, the SAPS could get rid of the evidence. The process was monitored by Lieutenant-Colonel Blose and – Mnguni.
On Thursday 26 November at approximately 08:30, a group of Mkhondo SAPS officers also under the watchful eyes of Lieutenant-Colonel Blose and – Mnguni, got rid of liquor that was confiscated from a business that did not have a licence to trade.
It is assuring to know that some of the illegal goods that were confiscated by the Mkhondo SAPS, is not being put back into circulation.
