Dagga bust

On Saturday, 6 June at approximately 18:20, three suspects; one South African citizen and two citizens of the Kingdom of Eswatini, were arrested after 14,4kg of dagga was found in their vehicle.

The police from the Nerston Port of Entry were patrolling the R65 Amsterdam – and Nerston road and arrested the suspects after they were pulled over and the Volkswagen Polo was searched. The suspects, their vehicle and the dagga, with a value of approximately R21 600-00, was taken to the Amsterdam Police Station.
