Dagga seized on Commondale road

On Wednesday, 6 May the Mkhondo SAPS received a tip-off regarding a large amount of dagga that was being transported on the Commondale road.

Sergeant Magagula, Constables Mavimbela, Mgabhi and Nkosi followed up the lead and when the two vehicles were intercepted, they found four bags with 31 kilograms of dagga (worth approximately R20 666-00) in the one vehicle and 43 kilograms (with a street value of approximately R64 500-00) in the other vehicle.

The drivers and passengers of both vehicles were arrested.
