Body-building is hard work

Body-building is hard work

On Saturday, 10 August, Siyathokoza Ndinisa (27), of Piet Retief, took part in the IFBB Mpumalanga Provincial body-building competition.

His love for the sport of body-building started in February of 2018 when he seriously began to train for his first competition that took place in May of the same year. His hard work and dedication over the last year has paid off and at Saturday’s competition, he secured himself a second place.

Due to this accomplishment, he has been invited to take part in the 2019 BBSA National Championships at the Emerald Resort & Casino between 13 and 15 September. Congratulations!

Siyathokoza would like to thank Mr Ahmed, for his financial support throughout this journey. He would also like to thank Zenande Ngwenya and her team at the Piet Retief Rugby Club gym for their assistance in helping him to prepare for the competitions.

Some advice from Siyathokoza:

If you are committed to becoming your best self and getting the body that you want, the process starts first in your mind. Your mind is the most powerful tool that you have and without a positive attitude and a willingness to push yourself through the pain, there is no way that you will grow. Most people tend to give up because their minds are not strong enough to carry them through the process. Feed your mind with good information and your body will have no choice but to respond.
