Nqobile Mdletshe receives her Honours Degree

Nqobile Mdletshe, a local resident of Piet Retief, has received her Honours Degree at the University of Pretoria in Education Management Law and Policy.

Whilst completing her studies, Nqobile Mdletshe received additional funding from the “Make a difference Bursary Foundation”. The MAD Leadership Foundation focusses on leadership development through education; the approach is to identify academically talented scholars who do not have the necessary financial resources to study further.

They then offer them support in education, leadership and life-skills development. This marvelous organization was founded by Francois Pienaar, a well known rugby legend. Nqobile is currently in the process of working towards her Masters Degree and plans to help other young people to achieve their goals.

She is passionate about education and had to overcome a lot of obstacles herself. She can relate to the struggling youth and offers good insight to help them with their future. We look forward to have someone like Nqobile in our midst, to be a mentor for the youth of Piet Retief.
