Othandweni Crèche’s sports day

On Thursday, 14 March, staff of the Othandweni Crèche, situated in eThandukukhanya, hosted a memorable sporting event in which they invited various crèches of Mkhondo to come and join in the fun!

The festivities took place at Maphepheni’s Sports Grounds and the pre-school children were very excited to compete in a relay match, potato-race and long distance running – these little athletes can surely show us a thing or two about running! Winners of the various races were not indicated as the event was only seen as a friendly get-together.

Othandweni’s staff members would like to thank the other crèche owners from Mkhondo (34 in total), for supporting the event and for contributing towards the positive vibe of the day. The young ones are looking forward to more of these outings in the near future!
