Borussia Commondale will expand in 2019

It is with great anticipation that we can announce that the Borussia Commondale Football Association will soon be expanding to more areas surrounding the Commondale area with new events on the horizon as well.

According to Mr Muzi Hlatshwayo, of Borussia Commondale Football Association, they will soon be starting with a brand new project in conjunction with SSCN (Sports of Social Network) in Pretoria.

The project’s name is “ICHOOSE2BEACTIVE”. The main aim of this new project is to encourage the youth, as well as elderly people, to become more active and take their health seriously.

They will be focussing on diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure problems and various others. Exercises will be done on a daily basis and for the elderly programmes will be designed so that they can do the much needed exercises at least once a week.

On Wednesday, 16 January, Mr Hlatshwayo welcomed the children from villages near Commondale who are eager to participate in this year’s games. The children were excited to receive new bags as part of the launch of the wellness-programme (ICHOOSE2BEACTIVE) in which they will participate.

For more information about the Borussia Commondale Football Association, or if you would like to contribute towards this non-profitable organisation, kindly contact Mr Hlatshwayo on 076 222 0547.
