Pre-schools celebrate their heritage

Between the fancy attires and dance moves, it was evident that these little ones are very proud of their heritage!

On Saturday, 15 September, preschoolers from Shakina Pre-school, Sinethemba Pre-school and Skhulangemfundo Pre-school combined their efforts and arranged a fun-filled event at the Town Hall where everyone could commemorate heritage day.

The children were dressed in traditional clothing, performed dances, recited poems and shared their history with the various other cultures within our community.

They performed Indian, Zulu and setSwana dances, which had the audience in awe. Thank you to the organisers for arranging this special event! It was very entertaining and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
