Piet Retief Primary School’s wintersport season ends on a high note
The rugby teams were all victorious

Piet Retief Primary School’s wintersport teams played their last matches on Tuesday, 29 May, at Piet Retief High School’s grounds, against Paulpietersburg Primary School and the season came to an end with various victories!

The following wintersport results were given and players of the match follow after the score. Rugby: All the rugby teams were victorious – well done! U/9’s: won 80-0 (Carl-Hein Creydt) U/10’s: won 38-0 (Jovan Coetzee) U/11’s: won 68-0 (Tiaan Bouwer) Second Team: won 45-5 (Wian Fourie) First Team: won 31-10 (Ndabenhle Nhleko) Hockey: The hockey teams played well and gave their best against the well-skilled opposition.

U/10’s: drew 0 each (Shané Barnard) U/11’s: lost (no player selected) – the score was not provided Second Team: drew 1 each (Zelandi Bouwer) First Team: drew 1 each (Nqobile Masuku) Netball: The netball girls had a great season and yet again walked away as the winners of all their matches.

Piet Retief Primary School appreciate everyone’s efforts and contributions towards the school’s sport and thank you to the families and parents for supporting their children and the teams by travelling for matches and lending a helping hand at the tuck shop when needed.
