This weekend, the boys’ choir of Qhubekani Primary School will be competing at a provincial choir competition in Emalahleni (Witbank). Both the boys’– and junior choir of the school competed in the subdistrict and district levels of the competition on 27 February and 11 May respectively.

Both Qhubekani choirs were the overall winners of the categories they competed in. In the sub-district competition, which took place in Volksrust, the junior choir (grade R to grade 2 learners) achieved first place with both of their songs.
