On Tuesday, 15 May, Victorious Women in Christ (VWiC) had their first successful outreach for 2018, to Ndlela Secondary School. The women were joined by several pastors from Mkhondo who ministered to the scholars.
A total of 175 matric boys and 184 matric girls were reached during the day. It was a blessed day and the unity and joy experienced by the participants was felt by all. This year, the outreaches are done under the theme “HOPE – Hold On Pain Ends”. All learners received a message of hope in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the girls were informed about sexually transmitted diseases.
Each child received a Bible, vetkoek and cold drink. There are several outreaches planned for the remainder of 2018 and the following have already been confirmed: – Sipokuhle School – 26 July – Mlilo School – 31 July – Piet Retief Combined School – 8 August – Nthombi School – 15 August – Kwashuku School – 22 August The VWiC would like to thank the community, businesses and churches that support them and contribute towards the outreaches.
