BG Foundation gave to newborn babies

During the holidays, the BG Foundation visited the provincial hospitals in Saul Mkhizeville (Driefontein) and Piet Retief to give presents to the Christmas and new years babies born in the hospitals.

A total of ten babies received a baby bath, filled with clothes and other baby-goodies. Wimpy and Engen Piet Retief also sent a Father Christmas to surprise the children and their mothers. The B.G. Foundation would like to thank the following people for their support to make this event a success: Engen and Wimpy Piet Retief, Charka Piet Retief, Fish & Chips Co., Pick ’n Pay Church Street, Boxer, Stihl, Mrs Nadine Kruger, The Municipal Manager, Mr M. Kunene, Derik Hlaba, Husqavarna, Pastor Tom McSeveney, Ackermans, Magda Pretorius and TWK Agri.

Beauty Grootboom would like to ask the members of the community to help her with various projects that she has planned for the upcoming year. Her first project is a Back to School project to support underprivileged children by donating school uniforms, – shoes and – bags to them. She is also requesting that anyone who would like to get involved in the work that she does to make a donation into the foundation’s bank account to help make future work possible.
