Bibles Distributed at Ndlela High School

On Wednesday, 24 May, Victorious Women in Christ and several pastors from Mkhondo visited Ndlela High School to give bibles to the matriculants.

Early on Wednesday morning, the women from various congregations and pastors serving in both Piet Retief and eThandukukhanya met at Wellsprings Ministries before setting off to Ndlela High School. The matriculants received a bible and a cupcake on the day. They were given the message of Hope and the visitors prayed for them. The group from VWIC spoke to about 300 girls during this event.

The pastors who were present spoke to the approximately 250 boys who were present on the day. Only one pastor was selected to preach to the boys, but everyone took hands to give these boys some fatherly advice about life. The message given to them was aimed at making the boys question the ethics of their actions. The boys responded well to the message given to them, and took the opportunity to truly engage with the pastors.

Some boys even asked questions regarding sexually transmitted diseases, which gave the pastors a wonderful opportunity to help form future men who can act responsibly. A total of 550 matriculants were served on the day. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Even though many people work behind the scenes to arrange events like this and to get everything in order, the work is visible and appreciated.
