TWK Toyota celebrated the 50th year of existence

Being Toyota’s bestselling sedan through the decades, the Corolla is celebrating 50 years since being introduced onto the market – and make no mistake – it is still a very popular vehicle!

On Friday, the 10th of March, TWK Toyota celebrated the 50th year of existence for the world’s bestselling nameplate in automotive history. Glenn Crompton, Toyota South Africa Motors’ Vice President of Marketing, mentioned, “One of many reasons South Africans have always loved Corolla is because it has continually delivered on being an affordable, reliable, family car.”

Being sold in about 150 countries and regions across the world, including South Africa, the Toyota Corolla accounts for approximately 20% of Toyota’s global sales. Although it does not incorporate major technical or mechanical upgrades, this top selling sedan displays a much more distinctive front end, which ties in with the progressive styling. A perfect family car with a tasteful, upgraded interior.

Also, on the same day, TWK Toyota launched the highly anticipated Toyota C-HR. Don’t miss out! Pay a visit to the friendly sales executives at TWK Toyota for a test drive in the Toyota C-HR. You will NOT regret it! May there be many more years of existence for the Toyota Corolla!
