Youth of Today Expanding
A soup kitchen held at kwaNtombazane, in December 2016, shows that the number of children are increasing rapidly

It is with great pleasure that we announce the expansion of the Youth of Today organisation, which caters and cares for orphaned children, living in rural areas.

During the course of December 2016, this group of young, energetic people, with hearts of gold, expanded their outreach to the Kempville area, called maVillage. To date, they are feeding about 29 children in this mentioned area, and the figures are growing with every soup kitchen.

Sifiso Salelwayo, founder of Youth of Today, stated that he made arrangements with Pastor Madonsela from the Alliance Church in Kempville, to use the church grounds for their soup kitchen, as the organisation do not have their own facilities.

Since the first soup kitchen (held on the 13th of August 2016), the Youth of Today group has grown tremendously. During December 2016, more than 120 children were fed in ward 16, kwa- Ntombazane – and the numbers are still increasing! The organisation wants to inform the public that they purchased a mobile pool which will be used in their upcoming roadshow.

They are planning to visit local schools and then move to rural villages where they will be able to provide the children with vital swimming lessons. For more information regarding the roadshow, please contact Sifiso at 078 448 5190. Another fun run is also on the horizon! Diarise the 16th of June, as this will be an event not to be missed!
