Well Done, Dylan Pretorius

On Saturday, 27 August, Dylan Pretorius participated in the Mr Jacaranda Show final, he was one of seven finalists, all looking forward to claim the title.

Dylan headed out on the streets of Piet Retief to hand over blankets to the homeless as he had to raise funds, as well as do charitable deeds, to earn points for the competition. Mr Jacaranda Show is a modelling competition, but all contestants’ characters were also judged.

On Saturday, 27 August, Dylan attended the final in Pretoria. In the final, he had to do a casual, as well as formally walk down the runway and he was also asked questions, upon which he had to give his opinion. At the end of the day, Dylan managed to achieve second position.

Although he did not win, Dylan is very positive and said that he recognised his mistakes and will en ter the competition again next year. Although Dylan only started his modelling career about four months ago, he has already reached new heights. According to Dylan, he enjoys the modelling scene but would rather be an actor and guess what?

Dylan has been invited to star in “Binnelanders”! He is currently in Randburg, where he has been involved in two episodes so far and he has also been invited to star in other television shows, of which the details are not yet available. The episodes containing Dylan, will be aired in November as the episodes are recorded three months before its airing.
