Injobo Enhle Foundation’s Staff Entertain Youth

On Monday, 18 July, the staff of the Injobo Enhle Foundation and the youth from Thandukukhanya had a fun day to celebrate Mandela Day.

Members of the Thandukukhanya community decided to start a project to help the youth in sports development. In 2014 the Injobo Enhle Foundation was founded with the aim to fight drug – and alcohol abuse in the community, through sport and mentorship programmes. The foundation is currently making use of a small sports ground, located next to Qhubekani School in Thandukukhanya.

The members of the foundation have reached out to the local municipality, who then allegedly said that they will help to repair and upgrade the sports ground to facilitate the different sports that the foundation would like to teach the youth. On Monday, 18 July, the staff of the foundation had a fun day with the youth of the community, by cooking them a meal, as well as providing the kids with fun activities to take part in for the day. Thanks to the members of the foundation for their effort in helping the youth.
