Electricity Department Delivers

Electricity Department Delivers – On Sunday, the 24th of July, the municipality responded when a concerned resident’s phone call, from Klip Street, complained about not having electricity.

Upon investigation, Mr Buthelezi and Mr Nhlengethwa, from the Electricity Department of the municipality, found that an electrical wire was damaged and needed to be repaired immediately. Without any hesitation, they fixed the problem and the electricity was restored shortly after. This was excellent service delivery, considering the resident phoned the department on a Sunday and these two gentlemen were willing to assist immediately.

The community member wishes to thank the two gentlemen for their quick response and professional service. The municipality would like to inform residents of a 24 hour, emergency standby cellphone number for reporting electricity problems. Please contact 082 804 1247 and they will send out a technician.
