Victorious Women in Christ Making a Difference

The Victorious Women in Christ ladies are working together to spread God’s message of love to ladies and girls in our area.

The Victorious Women in Christ Piet Retief is an interdenominational group of women, teaching young women and girls more about God’s message as well as other aspects of a woman’s life. On the 1st of June 2016, the group of ladies had an outreach to Ezakheni School near Driefontein.

This is a very neat and well disciplined school and the ladies were received with open arms. The learners were informed more about health issues and safety measures regarding sexually transmitted diseases by Dr. Melinda de Klerk. Bibles were handed to all the learners and a message of hope was shared. According to Mrs Anneke Rabe from the Victorious Women in Christ, Piet Retief, each church gets a chance to arrange an outreach to different schools and private entitites.

The above mentioned visit to Ezakheni School was organised by Dr. Melinda de Klerk. These outreaches are normally planned on a quarterly basis. The organisation will keep us posted regarding upcoming events. These well planned events will definitely make a huge difference in these girls’ lives. With the knowledge they gather at these outreaches, they are able to make informed decisions regarding their health as well as about the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV Aids.
