Amadlelo Aluhlaza Secondary School’s Choir and Soccer Team Perform – Recently the choir members and the girls U/17 soccer team have put Amadlelo Aluhlaza Secondary School on the map.
The Amadlelo Aluhlaza Secondary School Choir has sung their way through to the national competition, keeping the Mkhondo flag high. The Amadlelo Aluhlaza Secondary School’s choir performed very well during the circuit level held at Volksrust, regional level at Ermelo, as well as the provincial level at Secunda choir competition.
The choir will now be moving on to compete at national level from 28 June 2016 until 1 July 2016, at Rhema Church Randburg (Johannesburg ) , representing the Mpumalanga Province. The school thanks the Amadlelo Aluhlaza staff, the principal, C.M. Nkosi, the school choir conductor, M.E. Dlamini, the music committee of the school, the SGB, and the parents behind the young talented learners.
On Wednesday, 27 April 2016, the girls U/17 soccer team participated in the Games Against Drug Abuse day at Magudulela Stadium. Three other schools also took part in the day’s action, but at the end of the day it was Amadlelo Aluhlaza’s girls team that came out on top. They beat all the other teams that took part and walked off with the trophy. A special thanks to D.K. Shongwe (coach), T.C. Malinga (team manager), S. Mabizela (sports master) and C.M.
