SAPS Field Training

Fourteen new recruits from the SAPS College have started their field training at the local CSC (Community Service Centre).

According to Constable D. F. Nkosi from the SAPS (Communication), these recruits started with their field training on 15 February at the CSC. After six months of field training, they will be doing crime prevention for another six months.

After completing the above, they will go back to the Police Academy in Tshwane, for integrated assessment. They will become permanent police officers after completing ten of these integrated assessments and ten of them will then be stationed at Piet Retief and the others at the Mahamba SAPS. They are expected to be back from Tshwane Academy during next year, as from February 2017.
