Kempville Sports Ground Huge Mess

The Kempville Sports Ground has been neglected and is in a total mess. The grounds used for local sports activities, is in disarray. The grass has not been maintained and the fencing has been broken.

There isn’t a dustbin in sight, which explains the litter that is strewn all over the place. That should be no excuse for anyone that utilises the sports field, as it’s everyone’s responsibility to clean up your own mess. The change room and ablution facilities area are totally vandalized. There is no proper ablution facilities for the sports players to use. The building is now used to dispose of rubbish and the walls are decorated in graffiti.

What was once a secure facility that was in order and utilisable has now become inoperable. Even the playground situated inside the sports field has not been maintained and all facilities have been broken. The area is totally dysfunctional and has been neglected. Residents have raised concerns about the condition of the sports field and hope for a suitable solution to this problem. “The Municipality should acknowledge that we as the residents require their services in making our recreational activity areas clean and usable,” said residents. Hopefully the Kempville Sports Grounds will be restored soon and will, once again, be available for the public to facilitate.
