Dump site cleaned

With the dump site cleaned, it is now only a pleasure to pass that way.

In an article in the Excelsior News of 11 December 2015, it was mentioned that there seemed to be a new “dump site” in Muller Street below the cultural village. It was also said that workers from the Mkhondo Municipality, under the guidance of Vusi Dube (Solid Waste Manager), immediately started cleaning the area.

Thank you!

Anyone intending to start dumping any rubbish or rubble there, be warned, a notice board has been put up at the site, stating that a fine of R500 can be given for transgressors. You might just be photographed and fined … Please, residents of Mkhondo, use the allocated dump site on the southern side of town and do not spoil our lovely scenic areas.
