Lüneburg Primary School Interschool Athletics

On Tuesday, 19 February 2019, Maranatha attended the interschool athletics meeting for small schools at Lüneburg Primary School.

The other participating schools were Amsterdam, Amersfoort, Lüneburg, Morgenzon, and Wittenberg.

Maranatha won 43 medals on the day and 2 trophies, coming second overall (behind Amersfoort). We would like to congratulate Zekhethelo Salie for winning the Junior Victor Ludorum trophy and Andile Gumede for being the best junior track athlete.

A big “thank you” to every learner, staff member and parent who attended on the day and held our school’s name high. We would also like to give a special thanks to Lüneburg Primary School for hosting such a well-organised and memorable event.

While we have all been grateful for the rain, we also wish to thank our Heavenly Father for giving us a gap to enjoy some athletics.
