120 Prayer Bears were handed out to less privileged children at a Sunday School in Moolman

On Monday, 11 December, a whopping 120 Prayer Bears were handed out at Siggi, Aunt Erna and Paul’s Sunday school, in Moolman.

It was a joyous affair and a huge celebration. Many tears were shed as this was a very special day for many children. They were hugging and kissing their bears while holding them tight. Pure happiness was evident on each child’s face. Gogo Mthembu, a 70-year old lady who has never owned a toy, also received her own Prayer Bear. She was completely overwhelmed by the kind gesture.

This makes one realise how privileged we are whilst others have very little to none in comparison with the material things we take for granted. A huge thank you to Irene Atherstone and all the dynamic ladies who helped to make this Christmas unforgettable for all.
